Rotary Club of Marquette's School Adoption Program

Graveraet Elementary School (Marquette Area Public School system) is our Club’s adopted school.  Rotarians serve as ‘reading buddies’ to first and second grade students.  The Club provides $2,000 annual to support projects/needs identified by school administration.  Club speakers are honored with their name and presentation title in a book that club purchases and places in the school library.  Special grants over a two-year period supported revisions of the playground to provide green space for outdoor play.
